why is the wattage warning (adhesive tape) wrapped around the main element of the sconce? I purchased 4 and like them very much. They're elegant, simple and strong. But I damaged the surface trying to get the first adhesive sticker off the tall stem where you put it. Can you tell HOW to remove the adhesive from the sconce without damaging it? Is there a chemical of any kind? If you can't help me I will need to return the other three sconces. Thanks very much.
