Bugs in chive flowers

I wanted to sprinkle some chive flowers on my eggs this morning and saw some very tiny bugs in them. I've seen these sometimes when I peel garlic, too. Any ideas on what they are? I Googled it, and only found aphids, mites and thrips. These are not those.
The picture shows 3 of them on my placemat.
