The Seattle forecast says over the next ten days lows only go down to 49 degrees once or twice and will have highs in the 70's. You can definitely remove them now from your tomatoes. They are just a crutch IMO too get through cold dips. After that risk is gone, they can end up contributing to damaging by falling or removal from larger plants, and create less resilient stems and a moist environment more prone to stagnant air and disease.

Agree. They are just intended for protection from freezes. Once that is well past off they need to come. Wait too long and you damage the plant in the process of removing them.
