I bought a home in West Palm Beach 2 yrs. ago and the previous owners refinished with the Pebble finish in both the pool and spillover spa. I have found it painful to sit in the hot tub (imagine 5 grit sand paper!) and not body forgiving in the pool....walking or sliding across the edge of the pool.

To be honest, I feel they refinished the pool because it probably had a leak and this seems to be thicker because the pebbles (not smooth pebbles) stick into the base material. it would also be almost impossible to find a break in the finish. I don't wish for a leak, but if I had my druthers, I would have a smooth finish to enhance the texture and the color of the water to make it darker blue. I will try to post a pic ASAP.

Michael are you sure it's pebble sheen? Can't speak to pebble sheen, but I sat in a pebble tec pool and walked in it with no problems.

That was just how the sellers described it to us, but our stone is sharp. I looked online for the pebble sheen product and it does not look like what I have. I wish ours was smooth like the photos shown. I appreciate the follow up.
