It is so dark I can't see the front door.

Go white. Instead of the very small lights on the garage, put a much larger one centrally over the door. The entry NEEDS white, as well as better lighting. Instead of shutters on the large (?living room?) window, put a wood panel below the window to give it more presence.

I would agree with the above suggestion to paint the house white. Pick some fun colors for the shutters and front door. Maybe a slate blue - that would look nice against both the white and the brick. I would change the pathway so that it allows for garden bed against the driveway. It would soften up the house as well as allowing that downspout to water the garden bed instead of shooting water across your pathway. Allow the new pathway - maybe bluestone to pick up the colors of the shutters - to go as wide as at the front right corner of the step. That will also give you a more welcoming approach to the front door. Add some lights that are more to scale with the size of the house and some landscape lights to light the pathway. Widen your garden bed on the right side and add some plants with different colors and heights. You need some trees also. If you have the budget to change the driveway, that could also be a nice improvement. After you paint the house, you will most likely see that the gutters and downspouts should be painted or changed as well. I did some quick photoshopping - attached - to give you a visual. WOW ! Thanks for the input. Great ideas I can implement now and as ongoing projects. I won't be painting the vinyl sididng............I failed to mention this in the original request.

Perhaps remove this dark storm door. I would change the garage door with a garage door that has some windows. (Maybe you can just replace the top panel) Also, landscaping will play a BIG part in this. The house is dark so you're going to have to lighten it up with landscaping. Needs to good cleaning. We buy foreclosures all the time. It just takes some TLC!
