Hello all, we're at the beginning stages of a full kitchen gut and remodel. I've got an earlier post looking for help on the design, which we're still tweaking. We're at the point of interviewing contractors and picking a cabinet supplier.

Custom Wood Products out of Kansas seems to have good reviews, and we like the dealer well enough. I am, however concerned about their construction (which they don't really discuss extensively on their web site). The second dealer we met with admitted that their core is MDF (but a REALLY revolutionary MDF????), with plywood construction being a 15% upcharge. We have MDF in our current redneck builder cabinets and am NOT a fan, so am about ready to eliminate them from consideration.

Does anyone here have personal experience with the quality and longevity of the cabinets, and the warranty and responsiveness of the company? Thanks so much for any help you can provide!
