Noticed today that flowers on our heterophylla are looking much less vivid. On closer inspection, discovered most of the small blooms have fallen off. New to lavender, so not sure if this is part of the regular bloom cycle. Should these now be sheared to permit new blooms to grow? Is this a problem that requires treatment? Or should they just be left alone to do their thing?

Plants look very healthy otherwise.
