Dark Cherry wood for a while.. should we change the top of the night stand to walnut?? Please help

what is your intention? lightening the space?
no, don't change the top of the night table to walnut. It looks good as is

hi @Najeebah, thanks for your reply. yes really want it lighten our room cause as you can see we have a flow of dark Cherry every where.. kitchen cabin, dining table, my bedroom set.. sons room etc.. we just build our new home moved in 9 months ago. really need some help ty

It looks like a nice piece I wouldn't touch it... what about lightening up all the bedding to whites and off whites and eliminating the reds..... Some lamps that are a bit more light and bright at the base with decor that is light and bright vs. what you have.

Adding a mirror such as above would look pretty and add some brightness to the room with a lamp such as this and table decor that ties in if you wish...

Also planing to do a DIY.. change our cushions of our dining room chairs.. what do you think?? Grey or beige??

I agree, lighten your lamps ( and perhaps a taller one) and bedding. One of the inspirational photos including a light tray.

its been so hard to find duvet cover that isn't so busy. we already have plan white and it makes our room so cold.

apologies, I hadn't read that correctly, I thought you meant cushions for the lounge. for the dining room, probably beige or light brown
