Painting bathroom walls and ceiling BM Clearest Ocean Blue. Too much or good idea?

I am building a new house near the beach. I thought it would be fun and pretty to paint the walls and ceiling of my small (5'x8') 1st floor bathroom Benjamin Moore Clearest Ocean Blue. I have a nice sized window and the floor is a porcelain tile, 6"x24", in grey that mimics wood. The sink and cabinet top are white as is the tub and toilet. The sink cabinet is birch. I like a clean, contemporary look and thought it would be fun to have this strong pop of color in this room. Thoughts appreciated! Thanks!

I think that color works also look at wythe blue it's more subdued also look at calypso blue

I also live near the ocean and thought it would be cool to paint the cathedral ceilings in my bedroom a blue ocean color. I have to be honest, I loved it for about 2 years and then I became very bored with it. For a small space, it will probably be very nice and with the flooring, it would be complementary. A softer blue or even a marine grey/blue might not be as bright. A Benjamin Moore color of blue/grey tone would look nice, IMO. I like Coastline AF-570.

I think you picked the perfect color! It looks good with the floor color and is refreshing and versatile.

I once painted my bathroom ceiling a light blue, because it was a 10' high white bathroom with a light grey tiled floor. I loved it! The color was a bit like the 'baltic sea paint' Kelly posted.

I am into Palladian blue in the home we are building near the beach. We are into a softer ocean look.

I agree that this color is perhaps too intense. However, I often paint the ceiling the same color just reduce to 75%. Buy sample Paints & two poster boards or canvases & tape into place to observe how the color looks a different times of day.

I also prefer a softer version, I think you will tire of being surrounded by this much intensity.

Too bright I would go with something much more subdued in a bathroom for adults I think you need to see what works with the flooring and I love Palladian Blue just not sue in this space you might need something more on the pale blue scale.
