Home Inspection

Our real estate agent suggested we not be present during the inspection, and come at the end after it is all compiled. Is this normal?

    If you are the seller you should not be present. If you are the buyer you absolutely need to be there and stay right next to the inspector from start to finish. It is your opportunity to learn as much as possible about your new home, such as where the main water shut off is and how things work. I am a realtor and I insist that all my buyers attend, and I make it a point to be there, too.
