Hand piecing, Wow! I took a beginner quilting class 35 years ago and the instructor expected us to hand piece. I brought in a square one week to hear in a shocked voice, "you machine sewed this!" Yup! I admire those who can but not for me. And I am beginning to find it very painful to hand sew bindings.

Like Valarie and Theresa, I can't imagine hand piecing anything. And I rarely hand sew my bindings either. I would seldom finish a quilt if I did. It's too time-consuming, boring and painful to me. Donna, maybe you should just hang your sweet little quilt as a piece of art, which it is.

After going to that much trouble, I agree with Lois. It's very pretty.

Love it!! I, too, have much admiration for hand piecing! It's on my 'list' to try!! LOL That would be nice just for a wall quilt, or just on a table.

Donna, I agree with the others to hang it or frame it or put it somewhere to admire. It's one of your accomplishments and should be treated as such. I used to hand piece.....back in the day. It was very relaxing for me as was the quilting by hand. I do neither anymore, and that's ok because I've done it in the past and there's no need for me to do it now. :-)
