In about 3 or 4 days I will be awash in cucumbers to pickle. I have been wanting to pickle some okra but they are not yet producing much, would it be OK to slice okra into the same size as the cukes (bread and butter pickles) and include some in the jar, or should I wait until I am harvesting more and pickle them by themselves?
