Foundation color?

Everyone at Houzz has been fantastic with offering great ideas in such a timely manner with my past questions, Now for another. I've sent over some photos of all sides of our new home build. As you can see the landscapers are about to smooth the dirt and get started with planting. Before they do I'd really like to put a color on the concrete. Both the north and south sides have a significant amount of bare concrete. . Wondering what your thoughts might be as to color selections? Same color

as siding or darker?

Was the concrete supposed to be covered with the same stone as your porch posts?

Only the pillars will be in stone. We will be adding the stone to the garage side posts this summer.

Those certainly look like odd places to stop the siding. Can you take it over some of the concrete? I've seen several homes here lately that have that weird stopping of siding several feet above ground level. I just don't get it. Looks like a cheap way builders get away with less siding, and then they emphasize it with the dark belly band. More siding would be my solution. Lower level right up to the garage door looks correct and then the right side of it looks like someone (you or the builder) ran out of money. You certainly have a wonderful view from that deck!

Just wondering, our builder recommended waiting 1 year before painting the foundation. I would pick a color in the same tone as the sidings are. The house looks very nice. Congrats!
