Can cellular PVC trim be used with insulated vinyl siding?

I like the look of the thick cellular PVC trim and was thinking about using it as trim for the exterior of the house (around windows/doors/soffits/fascia). I have also been considering using a cellular PVC product for the siding (Royal Celect), but I worry about shrinking/expanding in my northern Ontario climate.

So would there be any reason why cellular PVC couldn't be paired with insulated vinyl? Do I need to take the coefficient of thermal expansion into consideration for trim?

p.s. If anyone has any feedback re: using cellular PVC siding in a climate that can vary between -35C to +35C (-22F to 95F) I would also appreciate that.
