Arils for Grand Junction, Co

I'm interested in what aril varieties will survive in Grand Junction, CO's extreme temperatures and dry conditions. The garden has an irrigation system for cactus and the iris could be watered on this system. Not all arils would survive these extremes. What experience have you had?

I'm new to arilbreds..but your conditions sound good for straight arils. They start growth in August or September..and would need some water till bloom. Then dry conditions

So, did you accquire any this year? I bought about ten more varieties and got them planted, but minimal fan growth on the newly planted this year. Last years plants have really bulked this fall though.
