What to do with this addition?

I want an outdoor space, such as a covered patio, but I don't know how it would look with this Addition. The previous owner built the Addition as a Den with office space and utility room. Do you think I should remodel the addition then add the covered patio? Downside to adding a covered patio to the Addition is losing more yard space. Maybe I should demo the addition?

If you don't need the space, I would demo and put a beautiful covered patio. I don't want to offend you, but the addition doesn't look very well on the main brick house. I think you would get a more cohesive look with a nice patio.

Thank you for your feedback! I take no offense. I agree with you that it doesn't look very nice with the house. It was a DIY from the previous owners. Why a flat roof? Who knows. I'm currently utilizing the space but would much rather a nice covered patio. I would need to find space within the original house to relocate the washer/dryer to though.
