I I think you need a deeper and more saturated color. Deep red, hale navy, eggplant...

when looking for a color be sure to consider that you basically have a red brick house. What colors look good with that shade of red? I personally would not have chosen the color you have (although I love the color, just not for your front door). Hold your paint swatches next to a similar colored red swatch- you will quickly be able to see what colors will complement your home. Good luck!

I like the idea of blue, even that blue, I just think it washes out with all the sunlight. If you have the paint chip, consider switching to something 2 or 3 shades darker.

A more rich color like plum or teal would probably look better. The front door screams "beach" while the rest of the house is traditional.

I do like the blue in the first picture. If you stay with this color, get some large flower pots in the same shade and place them near the front door. If you cannot find pots in this color, get some large clay or terra cotta pots and paint them.

If you decide you do not like blue, I would suggest painting the door a mint green shade that will harmonize with the green in the trees, shrubs, and grass. I would recommend mint green flower pots as well to tie the color scheme together.
