Super fast 3 yard quilt

I have a long-time friend with whom much has been shared over the years. She lived next door while her kids were growing up and they have since moved away. Everytime she visits, she drags my hubby's chair blankie off to her bed with her at night, so I decided to make one for her. She LOVES that doggone minky!! (so do I, it's just that sewing!!). She also loves Mary Engelbreit artwork and bright! sooo, I bought some ME fabric (YUK quality, but the print is crazy cute!) and put together a very fast top that I've been putting off for - a solid year, anyway. Did it all yesterday; super easy pattern and a great size. Now I have to find the perfect color minky - maybe even black!!
