Built ins with electric fireplace mantel height?
I'm getting quotes on built ins for my family room. I'm planning to buy an electric fireplace and get built ins around it and the windows on the wall. I'm trying to figure out what height the fireplace that I purchase should be to be in proportion with the room and hanging a 50 in tv above it. The ceilings are 8 ft. Any suggestions as to fireplace mantel height that would look good in this space?
