With furniture, you have to consider whether it will fit in your space (often sectionals make a room feel over stuffed and smaller) - so what is the size of your room?

If you are having trouble deciding between different types of sectionals, you really just need to go sit on a few and see which you feel more comfortable in. Rowes make fantastic sectionals, it all comes down to personal taste.

Emily Jj, what did you decide? (your post caught my eye because we are currently considering the Rowe Dorset - I love the style and find Rowe to be comfortable. Our local market does not carry the Dorset, however, so would be ordering it. )

I would not buy the Dorset - or anything by Rowe. They have beautiful designs and fabrics but horrible craftsmanship. We have the Dorset sectional and I wish I would have returned it when we noticed the first issues (poorly stitched welting, uneven backs between sections), but I had been searching for a sectional of this style and size for two years and thought we could look past the issues. You can feel the 2x4 on the backrest, it is so poorly padded. My husband almost knocked himself out sitting on the couch. The "sit" is different in every spot on the couch despite regular rotation of cushions. Now cushions all breaking down unevenly. My local furniture retailer said they stopped carrying them for this reason.

I chose to accept the couch but I did write to customer service to let them know about the issues I experienced and then again more recently expressing my disappointment. No response, despite a very quick and pleasant response pre-order.
