Can we have a look at the base also it looks like it may need a repot and a prune it may be pot bound.

Here is a view of the caudex. It seems to have plenty of room in the pot. Diameter of the pot is 8 inches.

Although the pot it is in is suitable in width at the top. The bottom tapers and far less room for roots soil at the bottom half.

They manage fine in small pots, but a fresh I guess up with new soil can help very much.

Beautiful plant and nice size. Pruning is completely a personal choice. Many times it can initiate more blooms from lateral bud branches producing more flowers.

Thanks for the suggestion. The pot is an ordinary 8 ibch clay pot. It appears to be severely tapered in the picture because all the Houzz pictures are distorted for some reason.
