malabar spinach, good source?

last modified: 9 years ago

So I'm growing malabar spinach this year, and I love the stuff. It will be a regular summer crop for me. HOWEVER, I got 10% germination rate from the seeds I bought, even after soaking, proper scarification, and waiting weeks for them to come up. Dud seeds, I've concluded. I trashed the remainder. I have a few plants, which are growing beautifully (kinda scary how fast they vine!), but will barely suffice.

I'd like to ask growers of malabar spinach what is a dependable source for good seeds, and your expected germination rate from them. I'll remember that for next year.
