Tub cover and heater

Is there an additional charge for a cover? For use outdoors with no access to gas lines, how does a heater work? Does the water need to be drained after every use?

The normal heater for this tub is an 110V electric 'maintenance heater' which means that it is designed to keep your water hot, but it would take a long time to heat up cold water. The tub is designed to fill and drain with each use.

We can, however, install an outdoor package if you want to keep water in all the time. That package is $600 more and includes a 2 speed pump, filtration, computerized topside control with anti-freeze programming, underwater lighting, and cover.

I am planning on keeping it outdoors and rather than complicate things more than it's worth ... I prefer to fill and drain with each use but the area that I'm considering doesn't have gas line access. I thought about buying a tankless or electric water heaters. Do you think that would work?

I can't see why not. I have even had customers use a tankless water heater and run it off of Propane tanks.
