Apples turning red too soon?

I have 2 Gala apple trees. After a severe pruning 3 years ago I didn't have any apples on them the last 2 seasons.

They are only about as big as golf balls and turning red already. They used to start turning in mid August. We did have an early spring this year. Mid March it was 70 degrees instead of early May.

There are some blemishes which seem normal since I don't spray them.

    All of our fruit is ripening earlier this year than normal. It's because of the abnormal spring we had. There's nothing wrong with your apples.
