Good luck with the jam. Strawberry is notoriously hard to get a good set/jell with, but it's worth it. My daughter likes freezer jam the best, the other daughter likes the cooked stuff, so I make both!

Those are plastic bands made by the Magic Button company. They are 40+ years old. Work great and don't rust.

Rose, I remember those bands. I wish I'd have saved mine....
