Really nice! Bianco Drift was a strong contender for me (ultimately went with Clamshell since it was more grey) and I remember it being hard to find photos of. Great of you to share!

Backsplash tile suggestions?

Can those of you with Bianco Drift tell me if your quartz looks like this? I cannot find any identification of the countertop. I suspect it's quartzite, though. Still, is BD similar in looks to this? Lighter? Darker?

Can someone let me know what tile you picked for the backsplash with the Bianco Drift counter? We picked a glass tile which turned out looking horrible after it was installed and we must choose something else but I would like some suggestions. Store is suggesting using 36 inch wide tiles, has anybody done a backsplash with that size tile?

I will be looking for a backsplash as well in the future. I read a decorator's tip once that if you have a really shiny counter, try a non-shiny surface for the backsplash so they don't compete with one another. Sometimes glass fights with such a counter. That said, here's a blog (with photos) post of the bathroom of an interior decorator/blogger of her own re-done bathroom using bianco drift. She uses a greige subway tile purchased at Lowe's. There is a subway tile at Lowe's, Allen and Roth's "Pearl" that looks as if it might be good with BD. It comes in two sizes.

Masterbrand companies (Diamond, Kemper, and Schrock) have a new color for 2019 called Icy Avalanche. It's a pale, soft gray (it's called an off-white with gray undertones by the companies) using Sherwin Williams paint of the same name but the SW color itself is a definite gray, very light, very pale, very soft.

Because the Masterbrand line (Schrock, in this case) white cabs are so very white, I was wondering if pairing the pale, soft light gray cabs of Icy Avalanche would work with the Bianco Drift.

Yes, it would be a monochromatic look which would have to have something like nickel hardware to provide pop. I have a family room, dinette, kitchen combo (small kitchen) and while I love white cabs, I'm wondering if the pure white might overtake the large rectangular room. The Schrock "white" is NOT a shrinking violet, not a blue white, not an icy white but a bright milky white.

The other off- white color which people often use in the Masterbrand line of companies is Coconut, but in my kitchen that color shows its slight yellow undertone, and I don't want yellow undertones.

Has anyone seen the Icy Avalanche (with NO stain or glaze)?

Any thoughts?

We will be using blanco drift for our countertops. Any ideas for a backsplash tile? We will use white Dove for the paint color.

I am wondering if this looks more brown than gray? I’d like to pair it with a gray floor and white cabinets and it’s hard to see a big enough piece of it anywhere. Thanks!
