About that same time in December I enjoyed photographing adenium multiflorum in bloom at my local Atlanta Botanical Gardens. I see plants available at my local garden centers and sometimes even grocery stores, usually always in pink. But when I lived in south eastern China, I did see them planted here and there outside in the ground in parks or around buildings, or in big pots.

Hi Laurie, I don't think those plants in the first 2 photos are Adeniums. The stems and branches are not the same. They look like they are - what we call 'Pot Belly Figs' here in Australia. They are commonly grown as bonsai and sold here in our garden centres. They do get a similar root system to Adeniums, but they do not get flowers. They are not succulents. I have grown some of these when I used to be into bonsai. Here's a couple of photos of 'Pot Belly Figs' for comparison.

Shucks, I was wandering around sipping my Kirin beer, must have had adeniums on the brain, thanks for the correction! Gotham City needs to get with the program and put these plants where they belong, front and center, up with the A certificate for restaurant hygiene.

Hyn - lol, you have to ask Peter to grow some for you, he has 2 set of twins with male parts, sure they will need more than a fig leaf later.

HYN Very close .I checked on my seedlings first thing after getting up i may have two more twins in this last batch they are starting to split down the center will post pics when they are bigger I will put tea leaves over there willys just for Agartta lol
