I would eliminate the 2-seat sofa. They are always boogers to arrange and it looks black, so probably you need to focus on the brown 3-seater. The art above the sofa will look better over a wider sofa except that it looks more black. Generally, art should be no wider than 75% of a sofa's width. Your end tables and lamps are too short. Tables should arrive at arm height and then when you add a lamp the overall height should bring the lamp to 58-64" above the floor. With recliners, a coffee table is just a hindrance, so I'd replace it with some more tables. "C" tables work well. We need more pix to give more detailed help.

You need to start over with the furniture and put down a large area rug.

What I am going to suggest is that if you are that fed up, you need fresh inspiration outside of the room. look at photos of living rooms and find some that you like.

One thing I am going to say is that you have a lot of natural light, but your paint color and furniture choices don't make the most of the lighting.

I agree that a rug would tie things together and decoenthusiaste just gave you good wisdom. Principles of design for these things.

I really think you are better off finding styles of living rooms you like and starting there.

I do have a lot of natural light, what color choices would I have to make, I have been looking at many photos but none that would fit my same spaces ?

Cpaul1, I do occasionally pull out my large area rug which changes the look slightly, but I will def. look at my furniture.
