Deer ate my cherry tree - will it survive?

I planted a bare-root sweet cherry tree this spring that has been flourishing in my yard - plenty of new growth and lots of leaves. This morning I went outside to find that nearly every last leaf had been stripped off! At first I thought perhaps it was wind damage from the storm we had yesterday, but there was no leaf litter in the yard, and upon closer inspection I found that two large hostas had been chewed to nubs as well. The cherry tree is about two feet tall and even the top leaves were eaten, so I have to assume deer.

I sprayed what is left well with Deer-off (sprayed the hostas, sour cherry and a few other plants as well), but I am worried this young tree won't survive without leaves. Anything else I can do to help it recover?
