Custom outlets and switchplates? Is that a thing?

So I've invested in this gorgeous multi color green Lunada Bay tile kitchen backsplash only to find that there are no "coordinating" outlets/switchplates. White and ivory look terrible, grey clashes, I didn't like the brushed nickel and white look so I've settled on black which they are going to install on Monday after grouting. But even black is painful to me but it's the lesser of all evils. Should I stop worrying about it (is black that bad?) or are there any custom places that I should contact?

you could do a wood plate and stain it to match your cabinets. They have Stainless steel covers, have you tried those? Or get the wood covers and paint it in the pale blue shade. or, you could use the extra tiles you have and mosaic the wood plate. I've done that numerous times. break up the tiles, glue them to the wood plate, grout (you will have to paint the edges) and that's it. here is one example: they make these on Etsy

something like this (HD or Lowes, amazon). you paint the outer edges and the inside around the holes, and tile the rest. you want to use a shellac coat on it first before tiling or painting.

I know that Lutron has several options. You could also look at clear glass

printesa, those are good ideas. i didn't know they had these. the clear glass ones are able to be back painted. or you could laminate a photo of the tile and stick on the back.

How would I match the multicolor green on the clear glass? Or would I hire someone to do it?

I know I've seen somewhere plates that are being matched to the tile, but I can't find it now..you know how it is ..never find something when you need it:)

You could also coordinate them to the cabinet hardware; can't tell if its oil rubbed bronze in your photo.

I would definitely paint them to blend in with the beautiful tile. It isn't as hard as you might think. If you are at all crafty it might be fun. Narrow painters tape and some paint that is of the color in the tile and perhaps a plate or two to practice on.
