This area is a covered entry. The walls are slatted with cedar deck boards so it is not a wind break.

This roof is amazing. Who makes these roof panels?

The roof panels are corrugated plastic, there are many manufacturers. A local lumber yard should be able to find the product for you.

Does anyone have any experience with this. I'm wondering if winter/sun would destroy it.

We completed this area 18 months ago and its been through one of our toughest winters with no problems.

Thanks for the quick reply! I just bought this house and I'm thinking of putting a deck all the way accross the front with some trellis just under the roof line accross the front. This would be a good way of making the trellis provide shelter from more than just the sun.

Be certain to check the code for your local span charts, the lower the pitch the more snow or ice would affect it.
