    The Contour Lock is safe to use for most hardwood floors but the thing to consider is what type of finish the flooring has. Some stained hardwoods or floors with oil based finishes can react with rubber. To be sure always contact your flooring manufacturer for instructions of what materials are safe to use with your floor.
