I would recommend satin! usually semi gloss works great on larger surfaces. Semi gloss looks really good on front doors, shutters, and accent adornments. How big is the brick surface? is it just one wall? also if the brick is raw make sure to prime with elastomeric primer first, it will save you a lot of stress down the road.
