Some of these hostas may be old news to you guys. I just took pictures of the ones I liked most.

Have a lot of lab pictures, will only post a couple. I did see Viking Ship, which I've coveted since seeing it in the In the Country display garden.

They come out of the tube with no roots. They get potted in 96(?) count trays and sent to the greenhouse. Of course, a lot can go wrong. Apparently streaked hostas are hard to T.C., and some hostas come out plain green.

Here's my haul. There are a couple of my intensive care plants mixed in.

Front to back, left to right - Sandhill Crane, Ladybug, Ahhhs (the convention plant), Beyond Glory, my sickly Camelot, Happy Dayz, Proud Dragon, Eclipse, Ambrosia, and a piece of Savannah Supreme that sported to Savannah. Ahhhs will take some babying, I think. When I watered it, it tipped over. I added more soil and will be watering frequently.

And the winner of the hat contest. The hats were supposed to represent a hosta name. I got this one fairly quickly, and it was a big hit. Any guesses?

Got it! The toilet actually made flushing sounds.

LOL! Clever guess - I drew a blank, no imagination. Love Granny Gone Wild...maybe for the name too. Great Lab shots - interesting.

I hope you really enjoy Happy Dayz (only one of your new haul that I have) as its a great hosta - nothing bothers mine, it's been quite happy and the colours just keep getting better and better...have a look. :-)

Happy Dayz wasn't on my list until I saw in one in a tour garden. The little one in the pot is ho-hum, but like Josephine's, the big one was an eye catcher.
