powdery mildew solution

Hi. My first container garden is doing pretty good but I have noticed some powdery mildew on my squash plants. I have read that a solution of milk, dish soap, oil and water is a good to control it but also I have read that baking power, dish soap, oil and water works well too. Would it be a problem to make a mixture of milk, baking powder, oil, soap and water or is the milk and baking powder overkill?

I was gonna try. 4 cups milk, 2T baking powder, 2T veg. oil, 2T dish soap and 2 gallon water.

Thoughts?
