Wonderful! I love the mild climates of the bay area. You can have plants in full sun so that they stay compact and bloom heavily, and because it never really gets hot the flowers last FOREVER.

Brugmansias only look that good here in the winter months when it's cool. During summer, they're non-descript and only have an occasional bloom here and there.

I think that morning glory is ipomoea indica.

I like the pink house with the pink plants. It's fun.

I also enjoy the pink on pink house. I hope that is the annual morning glory, I don't want the brug to suffer.

Thanks Josue,that is it- I.indica. You could see this in various yards..some covering a hundred feet of chain link fence- something its good at doing.

I saw another of this apricot Brug in full bloom elsewhere too. The heat wave didn't bother it. My Brugs like Frosty Pink defoliated 80% and others like my Charles Grimaldi (yellow) stopped blooming...for now.

SO - for hot areas,I would try the Apricot color. My tip of the day!

Thats Ceroxylon quindiuense. If you look at it on Daves Garden,in 2009 it was 4' of trunk. All that has grown since.

Now I know my holy grail palm. Unless gophers find it.

Its nice that the city can do that..and the plants stay safe.
