You need something on the other side to balance it out...maybe even look into a simple wall decal so everything isn't so cluttered looking on the table but you can still keep that clean simple look

What's missing is COLOR. The space is screaming out in desperation for some color!!!!!! Your mirror is a bit small and the wrong shape. Try something bigger and look for a colorful ceramic vase to add to the mix.

I don't think you need color, I like the scheme that you have and them simplicity, I would just add a few more table decor items, maybe a stack of books and a candle, or some little box. Try to get in some other textures.

I would move either the table or the mirror so that the mirror is not centered. I think that's what is throwing you off. Your branches could go on the opposite side of the mirror. and something larger than the globe thingy under the mirror but off center.

I agree with Mona that the mirror is too small. A larger mirror, just slightly less wide than the console, with an interesting frame, a table lamp and a small pot of flowers on top of a few old books would finish the space.

Color definitely.

The vase of twigs is overpowering the mirror. Try them on the floor or move to another location. A couple of tall skinny lamps would be lovely and provide ambient lighting for the space. Select interesting shades for these lamps. Place the table object on a platter shaped dish of the same color.

I would do a rectangular mirror, vertically. Nice lamp to the right and a collection of different size and material balls perhaps... Not too keen on dead wood in a vase. It's just not interesting and always feels like it is only there to fill an empty space. Not because it is beautiful.
And do you have a chair or room for a small chair in your entry?

I think it really depends on what you want to see and feel when you come into your home. something welcoming and warm to both you and any visitors. (if it were my house there would be clock, a box of tissue, a place for keys, a jar of pens, paper, scissors, and yes, probably rocks! ) how about a figurine? something serene..and certainly a vase for flowers. I wouldn't have such a large mirror, I do agree on that. I like the effect you are trying to make though.

A colorful bowl or tray to drop your keys/mail/gloves/phone whatever into! If it's really your entryway stop then make it useful! If you just need it as space filler then maybe a lamp to warm up the space. Lamplight is so much nicer than ceiling light. Also tall rectangular mirror is an awesome idea.
