Need help to hang a mirror horizontally or vertically

mirror is about 21.5 inches x 38.5 inches
please help me how to hang this mirror horizontally or vertically
i want to hang this mirror in lobby between 2 bedrooms

    It's a tad long horizontally and you have it hanging too high. If you like this approach, you might place the mirror in this same direction to get a better idea at about 6" or so above the table. I think vertically is more appealing as the wall appears very tall at least from the photos. What is the ceiling height?

    The ceiling height would help as we know the size of the mirror...

    If you love the mirror and don't want to get a new one. Another option is to hang it 6" or so above the table vertically as it is a bit wide horizontally no matter so no need to put another hole in the wall.
