As I said, slate blue could work. But pulling colours out of the ether isn't efficient. Please tell me about your favourite colours (other than neutrals). Think about what you like to wear, or your favourite flowers if you need inspiration.

Then we can work towards making one of them work with your room.

Pity, I suspect Jennifer chose teal for your room for the same reason I did: you need contrast and blue is a good complement to brown. Your room is essentially all one color and everything blends into everything else.

Do you have a favorite room you can show us a picture of so we can get a better idea of a color palette you like?

If you don't put some color in the room, blue or orange or something, the guest room will end up looking as impersonal as a hotel room or a hotel lobby. The graphic rugs are a great suggestion as is the plant, which imports something living into the room. Yellow would also work, as would red. Really, with the background you have created, you could go with any color.

Everything is beige, your eye needs a focal point. Area rugs, a nice panting, decorative pillows. You could wrap the column in mirror, it will dissapear.

Is this a guest room in a house or a commercial space?

Its a guest room in my private villa and not a commercial one.

I like the columns. They divide the space while still keeping it open. I don't think wrapping them in mirrors would make for a very restful space. I would be constantly catching reflections and thinking someone else was in the room!

I would be concerned about the area of walking space around the seating that encircles the columns. If you would describe the aesthetic you are trying to achieve you might get more specific response that would be helpful. If you are keeping the furniture in the photos, I assume you are more inclined toward traditional rather than contemporary. A skirted sofa is definitely in the realm of traditional.

I would like to clarify that I am not with putting sofa around the column because it will make the walk way narrow as well as it will make the area traditional as indicate as well. This is for your information

Color is subjected to your choise and inspiration. I am looking for royal and elegant place.

Get rid of the useless coffee table, and use end tables with lamps (for better and more flattering lighting) put a large oriental (or similarly colourful) rug on the floor. Pick up some of the rug colours for ceiling height lined drapes. Add some moulding to the base and top of the column to make it a feature rather than a nuisance.

Another thing to note is the shadows that the existing lighting provides. Adding additional lighting that points up and out will help lengthen the height of the space.

You have gotten many amazing recommendations, but you keep asking for more. Perhaps you should hire a designer to help you.
