My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Electric Tomato Strainer - Victorio, OMRA or Reber?

Hello all,

Was looking to get a tomato strainer for making sauce. I found several old posts but not for the last couple years. I see Victorio has always been highly suggested but also see many people posting that these are not made as they used to be, are many plastic parts and leak quite a bit.

Is anyone familiar with either the Reber Brand or OMRA? I know they are quite a bit more but sound like they may be better made and perhaps last longer? Very torn between going with the Victorio or spending more up front in the hopes it will last a long time.

Do any make better sauce then the rest? Noise level?

Not many reviews to be found on OMRA and Reber so any help or input will be greatly appreciated!

    Per past discussions there, for most of us the exorbitant cost of those 2 models - OMRA and Reber - is cost prohibitive when compared to other models that do the exact same thing. I can buy 5 - 6 Victorios for the cost of one OMRA and run them for decades (and have). But only you can determine if the cost is worth it to you.
