Yes don't know what will be cost effective as don't want to venture into expensive changes

Can't switch the sink plumbing and electrical will be expensive

get one of those super duper vents that Irene posted (make sure it's vented correctly wherever it's going) and keep the window and view. you may have to spring for the extra cost, but it's worth it to keep from blocking the window. Of course the other option is moving the stove or closing up the middle portion of the window and replacing w/two smaller ones, but that hardly seems like a cheaper option.

I liked pics that Irene posted, you are right Beth I will look for hood options n keep the window and thank you all for suggestions. I am still open for any ideas possible.
