Are Indian Freestone trees more susceptible to pests and disease?

I have two of these. Each set fruit for the first time this year. I sprayed with neem oil the first two sprays after they set fruit. And then much leaf loss. I returned to my regular fruit tree sprays. And now a lot of pinholes in the remaining leaves, and more leaf loss. I am concerned whether I will have any fruit.

I also had leaf loss on my Contender peach tree after the first two sprays of neem oil. But after I switched to traditional chemical controls I have had much less leaf loss than on the adjacent Indian Freestone.

What can you tell me about disease/pest problems with Indian Freestone trees?
