What's your budget? We're it me, I'd move along all the bedding and hit ikea. Nice white bedding, headboard, two end tables, two glass lamps...

I also have a small room. I use two bar stools from Walmart. (They're like $15 a piece). I spray painted them gray, no sanding. Super easy! You can also easily reach under them to reach your outlets. :) They are on the smaller side though, so you may have to get creative. I'll attach an image of a lamp you could use to clear up space. It's a sconce lamp (that plugs into an outlet, no wiring required).

To save table space, you could also do a swag lamp hanging over the side tables. You'd have dangling cords, but wouldn't have to deal with wiring the way you would for sconces.

I have a very small bedroom and I did that- hung swag lamps rather than use table lamps. I used wall mounted plant brackets to hang the lights from (my ceilings are too tall to swag a light from). You can buy a variety of solutions for cord control. I used these, but you can also buy this channel stuff that can be painted to match your wall.

Another way to save space in a small bedroom is to use small shelves mounted on the wall near the bed rather than tables. Especially good if you don't need to store a lot of stuff, just like a book and your glasses or whatever.

I saw a picture of this year's ago and really want to use it somewhere. I always come across these vintage cobbles in the salvage shops cheap.

Check out these simple tables. They appear to be on rollers and have a shelf to store items. Also, check out Target. They've got 30% of today and have a wide selection of smaller tables.

Me, I would check out used furniture stores. You can get some fun pieces and because of the cost, no fear in painting.
