I would move the armless sofa to the right of the fireplace, angled in corner by window. Then I would get rid of the corner section of the sectional and place the two sectional pieces facing one another with the coffee table
in between the two. As you said yourself, your furniture is too big for the space.

What I have suggested may work, but it's not going to look great with one sofa section being smaller than the other and each with just one arm. It might be wise to consider selling the pieces you have and starting over with a sofa and two chairs. Your coffee table is lovely.

When I look at your floor plan, I wonder why the builder closed these rooms in so much--I just think having two separate entry doors to basically the same space is an interesting choice. Is removal of those walls a possibility?
*****random thoughts for furniture arrangement, I would break up the room into 2 seating areas, or put all furniture on an angle and ignore the walls. Does the couch come apart so you could place the pieces throughout the room? As for the TV, you could mount on wall above the fireplace or move to the opposite wall (if you don't tear that wall down)

I know, nutty isn't it, I'm dying to take a sledge hammer to all the internal walls, it's a possibility in the future.

yes the couches come apart - 3 x 1 individual seats, 1 x 1 corner seat, 1 x 3 seater, 1 x 2 seater. it's like a jigsaw puzzle we keep trying to rearrange.

Yes, I agree that a sledge hammer would definitely open up the space if you removed the 2 walls separating the lounge and dining areas from the entrance. But smaller furniture would also work.
