I have a really great nursery where I buy my hostas -they do not grow them- and I was all set to get one from them this year and they didn't come in because of "crop failure". I'm doing a wait and see on that one. -Good luck with yours.

Nothing special to hear about it here in Germany, most are not happy with it, the pictures on seller's websites do not show the reality in most cases...seems as if photoshop has done a great job :-(

seems to be the same with mine. If I got down and looked real close Id say mine was 3 or 4 TC plants in a single plug. Will post pics tomm but nothing to see of mine either.

yes i'm suspicious about its fragrance. we've always known that fragrance always has plantaginea somewhere in its lineage.

someone went all out on marketing, i think the lab couldn't deliver on that over-selling. the backlash could be big if its not really yelllow.

The Wally World ad is the first reference I've seen to this cultivar being fragrant. Me has me doubts about the claim...

My poor excuse. Looking at it now it might..just maybe..possibly be a tiny bit bigger than when I got it. it keeps coming up but no sign of a scape..maybe I can report back next year.

Not quite what the Walmart ad is portraying. I wil cross with the pollen, none the less. I think lavender and purple are dominant so I chose a white flowered mother.

The Walmart pic is at least better than the horribly photo-edited Blue Mouse Ears pic that some unscrupulous sellers used. And no, no fragrance.

As a juvenile plant I did not detect any fragrance. I've been breeding for fragrance this year. And was curious myself

It's listed as a seedling from H. tsushimensis parentage. George Schmid makes no mention of fragrance in his monograph on H. tsushimensis.

the fleeting flower I did witness had no fragrance with mine either. it does seem to have a tiny tiny seedpod on it though. Doubt it will amount to anything seeing how small the pod is now
