How do you clean it?

Love the look, but my concern is hair spray, then dust layers on this beautiful fixture. Must you get up on your vanity top, at least one foot in the sink and take Windex and paper towels and clean each individual crystal? Or are they connected together and can be removed as a whole and carefully rinsed or soaked in a large basin of Dawn and hot water to remove the daily grime build up that happens in all households, even ones with a cleaning person that comes once a week?

Thank you for your question. For this fixture, the very top of small square crystals are fixed with frame, the rest of two square crystals and one rectangle crystal are connect together, And all the crystal balls are installed individually . So all the crystals cannot be removed together.

You could get up on your vanity top, use the Windex and paper towels to clean it, but please make sure that the power is turned off and take off the light bulbs before the work. Or you could take all the crystal off to wash them.

How difficult is it to take the crystals off for cleaning? Each one is taken off separately? How are they attached to the fixture? Special tools required?

It's not difficult to take off the crystals, just un-bend the hooks and take off from the holes. There are two type of crystal that need to be take of, one is rectangle crystal strings and another one is crystal balls, for the very top of small square crystals cannot be taken off. And there is no special tools required, just be care of when take off the crystals.
