I like Stonepeak's porcelain products. A lot of them have recycled content. I think they have a line that has some nice lighter, stone-like options (including a limestone that might look great there).

Tile is much harder on the feet/body than wood, especially as you get older. I love both, but just be aware of how the change may affect your comfort level.
