Have you looked at Shaker Beige?

I saw it in photos on Houzz. I really like the color which we have in our house.

Is this too dark?

I recently had downstairs painted in SW Urban Putty. Love it, some say it has a very slight hint of green in it , but it doesn't look that way on my walls. Not really a taupe, I think it's lighter, but looks great with my deep colored art &. touches of black. I didn't go for gray, too commonly used everywhere, even in my Dr's & dentist's offices.

Yup...pretty much greige and more greige. I do like it with the white.

Try it on several walls, Edgecomb turned bluish/ violet in my house & definitely gray with a blue undertone.

Edgecomb Gray can be amazing in the right light. Maybe give Manchester Tan a try based on Barbara's photos.

I see no undertones with Shaker Beige

I have Edgecomb Gray throughout most of my home, and I love it. You can see it against my white kitchen cabinets (sorry - I only take pics of people). However, you can see in the background, that it's the perfect greige.
