Hi folks - I'm in the middle of building a trellis system on the side of my house. The next step is to incorporate 4' tall cedar planters at the base of each of the two columns. The top of the planters will reach approximately to the top of the AC unit. The challenge I'm facing are these odd-shaped, u usual PVC pipes, to the right of the AC unit. This is a fairly new constructed home (4 years old), and yet I never knew what purpose these PVC pipes served. Franky I never cared before, but now that I'm building this cedar structure, I really wish I could somehow move the PVC pipe on the far right (the onepointing down). I don't like how close that pipe is to the column, especially once I add the cedar planters to the columns. I'm wondering if I could possibly turn that far right PVC pipe so it points up, just as the far left PVC pipe is. That would lend me a few extra inches and ultimately make things look less congested. I would greatly appreciate any advice/recommendations you could kindly offer. Thank you!
