Tiny House Exterior Need Help!

This is my first home. I don't have a huge budget to work with, but would like to make the exterior of the house look nicer. Any ideas are appreciated! Pictures would be awesome!

Hey I would also remove the stone and try to insert something that resembles the rest of the house...and I can't tell if the house is red brick...but if it is the door would look great in a navy with a charming gold knocker......navy looks great with red brick.....and ya maybe look into replacing the roof!

Its a cute little house that. What is between the front door and the living room window--a mailbox ? It looks a bit crowded there, could whatever it is be relocated? I think the yard needs some landscaping. More mature plants near the house and a couple of trees too.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. We'll be adding landscaping for sure. I like the idea of changing the front door and adding a railing. I'm wondering if a porch cover like the one below would work?

Is the house too narrow for something like that? We would obviously have to do that after replacing the roof so it all matched.

The picture above seems to extend the roof of the porch past the porch floor.Maybe if the roof of the porch only extended to the porch post that would be adorable I think. And I think i might have more substantial posts..Just my thoughts and taste..but what a lovely home and how exciting will your days to come be as you put your thoughts and style into it .Congratulations.

I think a nice craftsman sytle front porch would be great on a house like this. It adds dimension to the front of the house and maybe some landscaping to go with it. If you have the budget I would change the front door and maybe paint it a gray, similar to what houssaon suggested.

This is a cute house with lots of potential.

Paint the brick a light to medium gray.

Replace the front door or paint the door a light aqua. No storm door.

Add some railing around the porch and an awning over the door.

    Plant some Encore Azeleas.

I like leelee's suggestion of paint and new door (see photo). Disagree about railing as this is a mid-century. Either make porch more of a stoop or extend porch across entire front with much wider steps. Think low and long.

Think about a pergola in front... maybe whitewash the brick.

I agree to paint the house a light grey, paint the front door and plant some substantial plants. That would be the cheapest option with the most bang for your buck without lots of construction! Cute house! :)

Would you consider a water feature to in between the drive and the front porch? If you did an urn like below it could be drained for the winter and just be a sculptural element then.
